Howard Lederer lived in a family of 5 in which he loved playing numerous card games at a young age. Howard Lederer told Annie Duke to move out to Sin City and play in the World Series of Poker tournaments. She is one of the strongest women players the poker world today. He moved to Vegas in 1993 and participated in cash games for the following decade. When the World Poker Tournament grew in popularity, Howard decided to participate in more tournaments.
