Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the casino, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about other, more experienced people taking their cash.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, beginners are able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.
It is also easier to play for a long time with just a little bit of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
