Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in an awesome game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to be concerned about other, more experienced players taking their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners are able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make hasty selections.
It is also simpler to wager on for a very long time with basically a little bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer receives 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
